| This series pays tribute to some musical
artists who: either by their works, or who they were, or how they
made there mark in their time, have inspired me in some way or other, and
who are no longer with
us. I've tried to keep to personalities, a little 'off the beaten path', as opposed to the usual musical icons. The drawings were certainly intriguing for me to do. Each was done with a combination of conte' crayon, oil pastels and fountain pen, and drawing each incorporates lyrics, song titles and imagery associated with the particular musical artist.
